Present Indefinite Tense In Hindi with rules & Examples.

Person	Singular	Plural
First Person	I read. मैं पढता हूँ.	We read. हम पढ़ते हैं.
Second Person	You walk. तुम टहलते हो.	We walk. हम टहलते हैं.
Third Person	He/She/it/Suresh reads. वह/ सुरेश पढता है .	They read. वे पढ़ते है .

Present Indefinite Tense In Hindi

पहिचान -  ता है , ती है , ते है , ता हूँ 

1.  जिन वाक्यों के अंत में ता है , ती है , ते है आदि शब्द आते है ऐसे वाक्यों को Present Indefinite Tense के वाक्य कहते है। 
2. इस प्रकार के वाक्यों में verb की Ist form का प्रयोग करते है। 
3. केवल Third Person Singular (He , She , it , Singular noun ) मे ही verb की First form के साथ  s/es  जोड़ते है।  
4. तथा Plural Subject के साथ Verb की first form का ही use करते है। 

Structure -

    Affirmative Sentences

   Sub + V₁ (s/es/ ) + object.

Examples -

1. कुत्ते अजनबियों पर भोंकते है.
- Dogs bark at strangers.

2. मोहन का भाई झूठ बोलता है .
- Mohan's brother tells a lie.

3. तुम अपने पिता की आज्ञा मानते हो
- You obey your father.

4. मुझे कभी कभार स्कूल के लिए देर हो जाती है
- I seldom get late for school.

5. राम सदा सत्य बोलता है
- Ram always speaks the truth.

6. वह अपन्रे बच्चो को मरती है
- She beats her child

7. हम शनिवार को सिनेमा हॉल में फिल्म देखने जाते है।
- We go to watch a movie to cinema hall on saturday

8. वे शाम को मैदान में हॉकी खेलते है।
- they play hockey in the ground in the evening

9. वह बेईमानो से घर्णा करता है।
- He hates dishonest persons.

10. मेरी माँ मुझसे बहुत प्यार करती है।
- My mother love me very much.

11. मै सुबह ताश खेलता हूँ।
- I play the cards in the morning.

12. हम नदी में नहाते है।
- We bath in the river.

    Negative Sentences

   Sub + do / does + not + V₁ + object.

Examples -

1. सोहन झूठ नहीं बोलता है |
- Sohan does not tell a lie.

2. में शाम को ताश नहीं खेलता हूँ |
- I do not play the cards in the evening.

3. तुम दिन में नहीं सोते हो |
- You do not sleep in the day.

4. हम नदी में नहीं नहाते है |
- We do not bath in the river.

5. ये लड़के सड़क पर नहीं खेलते है |
- These boys do not play on the road.

6. सोहन अपना पाठ याद नहीं करता है |
- Sohan does not learn his lesson.

7. में नहीं जानता हूँ |
- I don't know.

8. वे शाम को मैदान में हॉकी नहीं खेलते है।
- they do not play hockey in the ground in the evening

9. वह बेईमानो से घर्णा नहीं करता है।
- He does not hate dishonest persons.

10. मेरी माँ मुझसे बहुत प्यार नहीं करती है।
- My mother does not love me very much.

11. मै सुबह ताश नहीं खेलता हूँ।
- I do not play the cards in the morning.

12. हम नदी में नहीं नहाते है।
- We don't bath in the river.

    Single Interrogative Sentences

    Do / does + Sub + V₁ + object.

Examples -

1. क्या तुम्हारा भाई लीलावती में पढाता है ?
- Does your brother teach in lilawati ?

2. क्या में झूठ बोलता हूँ ?
- Do i tell a lie ?

3. क्या छात्र गाली देते हैं ?
- Do students abuse in school ?

4. क्या तुम्हारे पिताजी देश की सेवा करते है ?
- Does your father serve the country ?

5. क्या अनिल आगरा में रहता है ?
- Does Anil live in Agra.

6. क्या सोहन फुटबॉल खेलता है ?
- Does Sohan play football.

7.क्या हम गाने सुनते हैं ?
-Do we listen songs ?

8. क्या वह तुम्हे गणित पढाता है ?
- Does he teach you math ?

9. क्या वह बेईमानो से घर्णा करता है ?
- Does he hate dishonest persons ?

10. क्या मेरी माँ मुझसे बहुत प्यार करती है ?
- Does my mother love me very much ?

11. क्या मै सुबह ताश खेलता हूँ ?
- Do i play the cards in the morning ?

12. क्या हम नदी में नहाते है ?
- Do We bath in the river ?

    Double Interrogative Sentences

    Wh.word + Do / does + Sub + V₁ + object.

Examples -

1. तुम्हें कौन पढाता है ?
- Who teaches you ?

2. तुम कौन से किताब पढ़ते हो ?
-  which book do you read?

3. आप कहाँ रहते हो ?
-  Where do you live ?

4. तुम्हारा भाई क्या करता है ?
- What does your brother do ?

5. तुम्हारी माताजी रसोई में क्या पकाती है ?
-  What does your mother cook in the kitchen?

6. वे सुवह के समय क्या खाते है ?
-  What do they eat at morning time?

7.तुम क्या करते हो ?
-What do you do?

8. तुम कहाँ रहते हो ?
- Where do you live ?

9. तुम क्या खाते हो ?
- What do you eat ?

10. तुम्हारे पापा कहाँ करते हैं ?
- What does your father do?

11. वे कहाँ रहते हैं
- Where do they live?

12. हम क्यों नहीं पढ़ते हैं ?
- Why do we not study?

Note - जब किसी वाक्य पर जोर डालना होता है तो इसे वाक्यों में do / does का प्रयोग करते हैं

अर्थात - जिन वाक्यों में 'तो ' शब्द आ जाता है तब Third Person Singular (He , She , It ) आदि से साथ does का तथा (I , You , We , They ) के साथ do का प्रयोग करते है |
जैसे - वह स्कूल जाता तो है |
He does go to school.

Structure

    Sub + do / does + V₁ + object.

1. वह समय पर खाना खाता तो है |
- He does eat food at time.

2. में स्कूल समय से आता तो हूँ |
- I do come to school at time.

3. हम समय से नहाते तो हैं |
- We do bath at time.

4. हमारे अध्यापक समय पर पढ़ाते तो है |

1. Daily habits, Scientific fact , proverb को बताने के लिए Present Indefinite Tense का प्रयोग करते है
   As -
   1. I brush my teeth daily. ( daily habit )
   2. Water freezes at 0^o centigrade. ( Scientific fact )
   3. A bad workman quarrels with his tool. ( Proverb )
2. Here और there से शुरू होने वाले exclamatory Sentences में -
   1. Here comes sanchit , our most promising player!
   2. There goes the last bus !
3. Newspaper के Headline में -
   1. India defeats Argentina by two goals.
   2. The prime minister inaugurates the annual trade fair.
4. Imperative Sentences में -
   1. Go out and lock the door.
   2. Switch off the lights, please.
5. To express a future event already planned.
   1. My flight takes off tomorrow morning at 6:30.
   2. The president leaves for Berlin on 15 aug.
6. Commentary करते समय -
   1. Rohit hits the ball towards the silly mid off. the ball passes over the fielder's head and crosses the boundary line.

20. क्या रवि घर नही जाता है ?

21. क्या वह एक पत्र नही लिखती है ?

22.क्या हम हॉकी नही खेलते है ?

23. क्या वह सड़क पर दौड़ता है ?

24. क्या तुम्हारी माँ तुमसे प्रेम करती है ?

25. तुम स्कूल क्यों नही जाते हो ?

26. वह यहां क्यों आती है ?

27. हम हॉकी क्यों नहीं खेलते है ?

28.वह सड़क पर क्यों दौड़ता है ?

29. तुम कौनसी पुस्तक चाहते हो ?

30. रोहन रोज कहाँ जाता है ?

31. वे कितनी पेंसिलें चाहते है ?

32. तुम्हारे घर प्रतिदिन कौन आता है ?

1. मैं अपना पाठ याद करता हूँ। 
   I learn my lesson.
2. सीता एक मधुर गीत गाती है।
   Seeta sings a sweet song.
3. मोहन घर जाता है।
   Mohan goes to home.
4. वे स्कूल जाते है।
   They go to school
5. मैं एक पुस्तक पड़ता हूँ।
   I read a book.
6. वह सड़क पर दौड़ता है।
   He run on the road.
7. तुम एक पत्र लिखते हो।
   You write a letter.
8. हम हॉकी खेलते है।
   We play hockey.
9. वह झूठ नही बोलता है।
   He does not tell a lie.
10.  सीता एक मधुर गाना नही गाती है।
    Seeta does not sing a sweet song.
11. वह एक पत्र नही लिखता है।
    He does not write a letter.

    Does Ravi go to home ?
17. क्या वे खाना खाते है ?
    Do they eat the food ?
18.  क्या वह किताब पड़ता है ?
    Does he read a book?
19.  क्या रवि घर नही जाता है ?
    Does Ravi not go to home?
20.  क्या वह एक पत्र नही लिखती है ?
    Does he not write a letter ?
21. क्या हम हॉकी नही खेलते है ?
    Do we not play hockey?
22.  क्या वह सड़क पर दौड़ता है ?
    Does he run on the road?
23.  क्या तुम्हारी माँ तुमसे प्रेम करती है ?
    Does your mother love you?
24. तुम स्कूल क्यों नही जाते हो ?
    Why do you not go to school?
25.  वह यहां क्यों आती है ?
    Why does she come here?
26.  हम हॉकी क्यों नहीं खेलते है ?
    Why do we not play hockey?
27. वह सड़क पर क्यों दौड़ता है ?
    Why does he run on the road?
28. तुम कौनसी पुस्तक चाहते हो ?
    Which book do you want?
29. रोहन रोज कहाँ जाता है ?
    Where does Rohan come daily?
30. वे कितनी पेंसिलें चाहते है ?
    How many pencils do they want?
31. तुम्हारे घर प्रतिदिन कौन आता है ?
    Who comes to your house every day?
